Dan Lan y Castell
[PRN 5239] On farmland just to the NE of the settlement of Ffynnonlwyd lies the small defended enclosure of Dan Lan y Castell. Entrance removed by ploughing. Interestingly, the site has had a total geophysical & topographical survey in 1983 which confirmed the nature of the site as well as the cultivation terrace just above. No recorded excavations or finds, but survey confirms site to be Iron Age.
