Gelli Diogyn
[PRN 935] On a hilltop 2.5km north of the village of Cwmfelin Boeth sits the heavily degraded complex contour hillfort, Gelli Diogyn. First written record in 1946 from RAF ariel photography. Main circular enclosure protected by two lines of banks & ditches. Complex west entrance. Still ploughed to this day, as you can see. No recorded finds or excavations, hence undated* (Scheduled monument) Iron Age tribal association (conjecture based on location): Demetae *Morphology suggests Iron Age date.
