Wasteberry Camp

DTM- (Digital Terrain Model, i.e. No buildings or foliage) Protruding from woodland between Plympton and Yealmpton lies the multivallate level terrain hillfort, Wasteberry Camp which overlooks Silverbridge Lake. Inner rampart remodelled circa 1600 for Lyneham deer park. Ruin of (rabbit) warrener’s house within ramparts. On Heritage at Risk register. No subsequent excavations or finds recorded.
