Black Head
DTM- (Digital Terrain Model, i.e. No buildings or foliage) Along the coast south of St Austell at Trenarren lies the multivallate promontory fort, Black Head. Irregular shaped with part-buried outer ditches that bisect the headland. Much area lost due to coastal erosion over 2000 years. One stone hut circle to the NNW of 1880 rifle range. Area modified in 1907 & in the 1970s. Multiple surveys but details lost. No recorded excavations or finds, hence undated.
