Castell Cwmere
DTM- (Digital Terrain Model, i.e. No buildings or foliage) Hidden within woods just northeast of the village of Temple Bar lies the contested inland promontory fort, Castell Cwmere. SE gap denotes entrance. Hogg (1962) rejected this site being Iron Age and suggested medieval ringwork, although LiDAR suggests an Iron Age date based on similar sites populating Ceredigion & Pembrokeshire. Last site visit in 2007. No recorded finds or excavations, hence undated*.
