Dudsbury Camp
DTM- (Digital Terrain Model, i.e. No buildings or foliage) Just north of Bournemouth and adjoining the east side of the Dudsbury Golf Club lies the Dudsbury Girl Guide Camp, formerly the Iron Age contour hillfort, Dudsbury Camp. Overlooks the River Stour. Outer rampart lost to ploughing. Limited excavation in 1921. Finds include Iron Age sherds at the bottom of the ditch. A private residence known as Castle Rings occupies the east-side of the fort.
