Pen Coed-Foel Camp
DTM- (Digital Terrain Model, i.e. No buildings or foliage) Overlooking the village of Pentrellwyn from the east, just the other side of the B4476 sits the heavily bisected (by field boundaries) univallate hillfort, Pen Coed-Foel Camp. The banks crest has been robbed of stone in antiquity. Northern entrance. Multiple small quarries in interior as well as much larger ones surrounding the hills summit. A bronze half-collar dated circa 100BC found around 1895 during quarrying. (Ceredigion museum) No recorded excavations, hence undated*.
