Treryn Dinas
DTM- (Digital Terrain Model, i.e. No buildings or foliage) On a promontory across from Porthcurno lies the coastal-eroded, half destroyed fort, Treryn Dinas. Distinct ditches and remains of two oval hut platforms. Robbed of stone in antiquity. Site famous for its Logan or ‘rocking stone’. First written reference in 18th century by W. Borlase. Known as Trereen Castle in 1813. Surface finds of flints and rubbing stone since 19th century. Last site visit in 2006 by the Hillfort Study Group. No recorded excavations, hence undated.
