Castell Forlan

DTM- (Digital Terrain Model, i.e. No buildings or foliage) Just to the southeast of the village of Maenclochog and hidden in woodland (owned by the forestry commission) lies the multivallate inland promontory fort, Castell Forlan (or Castell Vorlan; which sounds far cooler). An abandoned railway line (1876-1949) to Maenclochog runs beneath the east of the site. I found what could be a bowl barrow or knowing my luck, a dew pond just west of the ramparts. Will let Pembrokeshire HER know and keep you posted (as its not listed) No recorded excavations or finds, hence undated.
