DTM- (Digital Terrain Model, i.e. No buildings or foliage) Outlined by hedgerows & surrounded by woodland to the northeast of Holbeton lies the univallate partial contour hillfort, Holbury Camp. Ploughed-out interior. First written reference in 1861. Geophys in 2007 suggests interior features may be extant despite heavy ploughing in the past. Unexcavated, hence undated. Iron Age tribal association (conjecture based on location): Dumnonii (Scheduled Monument) [Any descriptive text is attributed to the Atlas of Hillforts & Historic England websites and any associated archaeological descriptions online which will be credited accordingly.]
