Blaen Gywddno

1.6 Km east of the village, Princess Gate lies the inland promontory fort,Blaen Gywddno. 1.5m high curving banks bisect the promontory. Speculative site of local chieftain as site known locally as Blaen Gywddno, source of the Gwydduo. Speculative site mention in The Mabinogion, (early Welsh prose stories) as 'Noe' was said to be the son of Arthur. No recorded finds or excavations, hence undated.
