

DTM- (Digital Terrain Model, i.e. No buildings or foliage) Hidden in woodland to the south west of Exeter and hosting the Exeter Paintball & Laser Game site lies the contour hillfort, Cotley Castle. Modern road cuts through west rampart as well as a trackway made when the hill was replanted in 1966. First recorded in 1889. Updated record by Sir Cyril & Lady Fox in 1948. No recorded finds or excavations, hence undated.
