Dunwood Camp

DTM- (Digital Terrain Model, i.e. No buildings or foliage) To the northwest of Southampton and above Dunwood manor lies the contested univallate contour hillfort, Dunwood Camp. Site visits were inconclusive, but it could be an unfinished hillfort. Possible medieval use. Last site visit in 1969. Unexcavated, hence undated. Iron Age tribal association (conjecture based on location): Belgae (Scheduled monument)
